African Conservation Trust (ACT) is a broad based environmental, heritage and conservation not for profit Trust, a registered NPO, with Public Benefit Organisation status and authorised to issue s18A (tax deduction) receipts to donors.
A donation toward the work of ACT qualifies for a tax deduction and an amount equal to up to 10% of your taxable income may be claimed as a tax deduction in each tax year (if you donate an amount or an asset which exceeds 10% of your taxable income, the balance may be claimed as a tax deduction in the following year).
Your tax burden is offset by this amount, whilst your donation goes to where it is needed most: building food gardens, supporting school sanitation systems and protecting our natural environment.

The African Conservation Trust (“ACT”) is a registered Public Benefit Organisation, and, as such, a Specialised Enterprise with at least 75% black beneficiaries, qualifying for a Level 1 B-BBEE Rating under the Amended Codes.
There are a number of benefits for donating to, using the services of, or procuring goods or services from the African Conservation Trust under the Amended Codes, with recognition of up to 100%.
